- When you burn the candle for the first time make sure you allow and full melt pool for a stronger scent throw.

Depending on the size of the burner you can use 1-2 melts at once, add wax gradually to avoid wax spillage.
You can replace the melt when the fragrance burned off and you can’t smell it anymore. A good way of removing the old wax is to light the unscented tea light underneath and leave it for 1-2 minutes until the wax is starting to melt around the edges. Blow out the candle, make sure it is not too hot to touch then you can slide the wax out easier. It can be wiped clean with kitchen roll or tissue and now is ready to add a new wax melt. For the hanging tear drop burners you can use a teaspoon to slide it out.
