Our Story
Almasea began at home, in the 2020 lockdown, with a pot of soy wax and a love of beautiful scent.
Where it began
Almasea started in the 2020 lockdown. What began as a way to fill quiet days at home grew into a small business, and before Christmas 2020 the first handmade wax melts and candles went on sale through Etsy.
Today every piece is still made by hand in small batches, with the same care as that very first pot.
The soul of the sea
“Almasea” means “soul of the sea”. It is the feeling we hope each scent brings home: calm, bright and a little bit wild.
