Wax burner care:
- Place on a heat-resistant surface and never leave unattended when lit
- Keep away from pets and young children
- Never heat an empty dish — ensure there is always wax or oil in the bowl to avoid cracks
- Do not touch the surface when lit — ceramic gets hot
- Do not overfill the dish — add wax melts gradually
- Use with good quality unscented tea lights (4-hour burn time); trim the wick and ensure it does not contact the burner directly
- Never mix water with wax; if used with water or oils, ensure the dish is completely dry before using with melts
- To remove hardened wax: warm gently until it loosens, then lift out and wipe the dish with a paper towel

The burner is 11.5cm tall and 9cm wide, a size suited to shelves, tables and mantels. The cut-out stars cast a starlight pattern across the room when a tea light is lit inside.
What tea lights should I use and how do I care for it?
Use good quality unscented tea lights with a four-hour burn time, trim the wick and keep it from touching the burner. Place it on a heat-resistant surface, never heat the dish empty, do not overfill it and never leave it unattended. To remove hardened wax, warm it gently, lift it out and wipe the dish with a paper towel.
